Is there anything more ridiculous than hanging up on a rock-to-fakie? I spent a solitary hour this morning at the Springville skate park working on rock-to-fakies and fakie disasters just to gain the feel permanently (2 sets of 20). I also worked on kick flips, scoring 6 out of 30–that’s 1 in 5!

This evening David and I returned just after a light rain had cooled everything off. I spent most of my time on fs 50-50s on the mini ramp (which I still can’t get), then we hit the rest of the park for a couple games of SKATE. I managed an ollie over the bank spine, did a number of decent grinds on quarters and boxes, hit a fs 180 disaster just for David, and almost had a pop-shove-it on another bank. Fun stuff.

I broke down and wore the new bionic knee brace that the doc gave me, which though not terrible comfortable did a great job supporting my knee.
